That is EXACTLY where mine came from.



You know some may feel that NIKE is overpriced, but I have NEVER had a performance issue with their products. Hehe, we don't even blink at spending hundreds of dollars for chemicals, but we think twice about a $20 shirt. This is definitely autopian thinking. :p

I just wear cotton t-shirts and shorts. I bring several shirts with me and change them as needed. If I don't soak my shirt during a detail in the summer, I feel like I didn't work hard enough.



BTW, my kids wear Underarmor when playing hockey and when running and they both swear by it. I may have to pick up a few shirts and try them out. :)

Yeah, I think the performance and comfort factors are high here. If you can get the job done with less stress on your body and mind and feel better after a day's work, it's worth $20 for a new shirt :)
 
a trick i use at the track, since i have a full suit of underarmour, is to soak the shirt and let it evaporate off you. it keeps me cool even in >100 degree heat.

Heat doesn't bother me though. I don't care if I sweat, it means I am working hard. The weight comes off real fast this time of year. Besides, the heat reduces my appetite so maybe by the end of the summer I can detail in a speedo and get huge tips from my female customers. ;)
 
Well, I stopped at Dicks today and there are some reasonably-priced options. Tshirts that look/feel like cotton (mostly) for $20, tight-fitting, loose-fitting, many options for $20-$30 in both Nike and Under Armor.



I don't mind sweating so much, either, but it's nice to be as comfortable as possible. Plenty of folks I know who exercise regularly (running, biking, gym workouts - that's not me) swear by this stuff, so why not give it a shot. I picked up a couple of things and I'll let you know how I feel after my first detail in them.

My father is an avid jogger and wears similar shirts. I never thought to try them. :idea



I know he gets a little discount from his running magazine catalog. I'll pick up a couple.
 
I found some Starter dry fit T shirts at WalMart for $8. I work outside a lot and the humity has been really bad the last week.

Ahhhh, be a real autopian. Take your shirt off and put a layer of S100 on your body. Or better yet, a sealant to give you some UV protection, maybe you won't need that sun screen.

I just took both my Dri-fit shirts through a normal workout these past 2 days. Really comfortable, don't have a wet cotton t-shirt to deal with. Combine 85+ weather with really high humidity and you get lots fo sweat. If I had a cotton T on, it would be soaked through and I'll be really uncomfortable. These dri-fit shirts actually let me run in comfort. I like it. Well worth the extra $$.



Haha right on, spend $$$$$$$$$ on cars and car cleaning and spend $ on wardrobe, LOL.

The ones that I have fit just like a regular T-shirt. They do make the really tight "compressor" style that I *think* are designed to be undergarments.



They also make regular two-button polo style shirts out of the dri-fit material.
 
Where can I find profesional looking shirts, like polo type or similar, that I can purchase online that are like the ones being discussed here.
