if you could have or invent one detailing product, what would it be?

I know I know I know!!

I would invent a wax that can and will prevent water spots and dirt after it rains. I hate those dirty water spots on my door panels after it rains. I'm sure it's impossible because how fast water evaporates.

:grinno:

Oh man, I would love something that could just be sprayed on the bottom of my cars to prevent corrosion and dirt from adhering to vital parts of the undercarriage.

I'd invent a sealant which totally prevents water spotting, does NOT bead, and its protective layer is visible under UV light - so you know where it is diminishing.

I want the same product !! :dance

-A trim cleaner that cleans old wax stains out of trim, permanently.

-A trim dressing that keeps it's look/protection for 2+ months and doesn't run.

As you can see, I hate detailing trim. That and a glass cleaner that cleans well and doesn't streak no matter what would be great.

I'd like to have a foamgun setup that sprays through a wash medium (probably a BHB), something long the lines of Griot's flow-through BHB only with foamgun output. Wouldn't be *impossible* to fabricate, but don't hold your breath for me to come up with it.

How about SOWA product. (Spray on, walk away) Forget applying by hand with an applicator, how about you spray the LSP and walk away!!!

Foam based?

Z8! By far my favorite detailing product, genre set aside, I'll take Z8 on brand new paint unswirled. Love the smell, has great durability for a spray sealant and very easy to use.

I agree with you totally! Z8 is by far the best spray sealant I have ever used too.

Nice one bence

Well I love detailing trim, I'm just about to do the lower trims on a FPV BF Typhoon sedan with Trim Dream 3 step system and seal them

Just did the wiper arms with it.

My product would have to be a polish/burnish that works on textured trims and that causes all non porous trims that don't respond to trim dream to absorb it and then allow the sealant I use to bond to it properly

Damn E Series Falcons and their totally non porous trims (top ones) you can get to come up great but the damn sealers can't be absorbed and bond to them.

or

A car wash that dramatically improves the paint finish, doesn't affect slickness in any way and boosts protection so well that you don't even need to QD afterwards and cuts out window cleaning afterwards.

I'm going to get the top guy at aussie gold car care to make one up for me.

I'm the new beta tester for his gear.
