If you could choose only one?

I'm looking to do a little experimenting! I love the Zaino on my truck, but I'm going after a bit different look. One of the experiments will be with a carnauba system (the other will be BF over/under Zaino).

Anyhow, my question is........... If you could have one, and only one "mild" polish, which one would it be? Meguiars #7, #5, PS21 GEPC, or maybe one of ProWax's polishes, etc.? My personal favorite (plus I still have some) is One Grands Omega Glaze.

My plan is 2 X Omega Glaze, 2 X Blitz, and 1 X PS21 carnauba! However, I'm looking for some feedback on the polish, or on any part of my plan for that matter.

Thanks in advance!

OMG  . Wake the neighbors, call out the National Guard, get the President on the Phone!!! White_F150 is looking to move away from Z and back to the old fashioned, outdated and short lived protection of carnauba? :scared What caused this? Feeling left out of the fun just sitting around and admiring the shine of your truck with Zaino while the rest of us carnauba nuts toil week after week with clay, polish, wax and qd? LMAO.

Well, you know my personal favorite...#7, but admittedly I haven't tried nearly as many products as you or most Autopians. I have read plenty of good things about the Omega Glaze. I do know that a coat of #7 produced visibly better results (in the wet look gloss) than did the GEPC on my red truck. I'll be glad to send you a 3/4 full bottle of GEPC and you can compare it with your stash of Omega Glaze.

One thing peeks my curiosity though.....you say "mild" polish but I always thought #7(and Omega Glaze for that matter) were nothing more than pure glazes with no abrasive quality at all :nixweiss. I don't think I'd put them in the same category as the GEPC which, though very little, does have some abrasive quality.

Anyway, cast my vote for the #7. I can't wait to see pics of your truck after that regiment. I'll be sure to have my shades on so as not to sustain any permanent eye damage!

LOL Natty! :D Yep, I'm getting "itchy" to test some stuff on my truck! Not to worry, I'll have the "Z" (maybe with BF) back on there before winter.

As for the polishes.............. There is such a wide range of so called "polishes", that it is hard to distinguish between them. I don't think the Omega Glaze is really a "Pure Glaze" in the non-abrasive sense! It works well to remove minor swirl marks (must be some abrasives in there) and scratches but still leaves an incredible wet/deep look! I would suspect that there are some very fine abrasives in the #7 and #5 too (could be wrong). However nothing like the #1, #2, #5, or other "strong" polishes/cleaners. But you are right, the Omega Glaze is probably more in the GEPC category when it comes to being abrasive, than it is in the #7/#5 category. However, the end result "looks" of products are very similar.

Now, I just need to find some time to do this stuff! ;)

Does omega glaze remove light swirls or just fill them? #7 is purely cosmetic like 3M IHG. If I had to choose only ONE product, I would not get these. #7 can barely remove a water spot.

If I had to choose one thing, I'd defer and get Klasse AIO.

I would choose either PPCL or P21S GEPC, primarily because they are so much easier to use than the more traditional glazes. I also like the very slick surface they leave (hey, I'm a Z user...I'm in love with slick surfaces).
