If Captain Kurk had a car, this would be it!

2006 Infinity M35: WOW –This car is something else. It was loaded to the hilt: Directional Headlights, Blue-tooth, DVD Audio / 14 (or 15, I forget...) Speaker Bose 5.1 surround, Heated and Cooled Seats, Navigation, Rear View Camera, -i.e the kitchen sink. It even had a sensor that tripped when you stray from your lane! The build quality is UNREAL too.

My boss picked up a pre-owned M35 with under 10K on the clock and wanted a ‘Z’ treatment.

We had 3 hours to work with.....

Process Used:

Wash: Poorboys SS&S, BlackFire Gel Wheel Cleaner, Foam Gun
Interior: Vac & Z9, Z10, Z16 wipe down.
Engine: #425 wipe down, and VRT dressing. This was a quicky –no time for an APC wash :(

Exterior (paint, glass, trim, wheels): Touched up a few spots with Blackfire finishing polish using the Metabo @ 1400 with an orange LC pad. Finished with ZPC via PC @ 5 using a LC Hi-Gloss green pad (I love this pad!!). There is a sticker under the hood that talked about the paint having a new ‘hard clear coat’

Protect: Z5Pro x 2, Z6 wipe down between coats & Z8 final wipe.

Tires: Z16

Here are a few after shots:

ya the ride is soo smooth too! My friends dad has one and i was supprised by how nice everything was!

110% agree with you. This car is awesome I test drove it like 2 months ago and wow. Did you notice how the needles do a sweep at start up that is so cool. For the price the car is incredible it has standard features which are options on the 7 series (which we were also looking at). I loved how the nav is also on the rear screen if you take the entertainment package. Theres seat heaters in the back and they RECLINE. I recommend this car to everyone I know looking for a car in that range.

He got it preowned in less than a year? Not many people are buying used '06 cars like that this early in the year. Any idea why the other buyer couldn't keep it? His eyes were probably bigger than his wallet I'll bet. lol Nice job on the detail.

Jngrbrdman -The store manager drove it for 6 months (and I'm sure it was used for test drives too) and put too many miles on it to sell it as a demo.
My boss (old boss) got a new car warranty, and about 14K off sticker, so he couldn't pass it up. All things considered I think he got one he** of a car for the $.

Craigster -Thanks man.

Yes, I took her out after the clean up, and I was impressed with the sound dampening & the impressive ride feel -considering that it's equipped with 19" summer performance tires. IMO this is the best bang for your buck vs. cars in the same class. The attention to detail is impressive. About the only thing that I didn't care for (and it's minor) is the leather trim on the door rest -mostly because it's cream and will age quick if he doesn't care for it.

I regret not polishing the entire car with Blackfire clear finishing polish because it makes a big difference. I actually like it better than P085RD because it appears to be even higher gloss, cuts a bit more yet finished perfect, and looks great on any color (in my eyes). It's supposed to be re-badged Menzerna 106FF, but I've never used it, so I don't know for sure. Since it was a fairly quick detail (for me), I decided to lay down a base of ZPC for bonding purposes and because the finish was in very good shape. The rims alone took 40 minutes to clean because they were loaded up (especially the inner rims) with baked on brake dust. I would hate to have to replace one of those rims. Just looking at them screams $$$$$$.
