If anyone needs new Halogens...

I'm not down on the Craftsman ones or anything, have one and might get another...but my ultra-cheapo generic halogen from the '80s has better reflectors (surprising how much better it shows marring) and bulbs last *forever* in it while they burn out quickly in the Craftsman :nixweiss

On the Craftsman, one of the knobs that tightens/holds the lamp housing stripped out shortly after I got it. I suppose it's my fault, but it's something I wasn't expecting as I've never had any problems like that before.

i'm saving up for the industrial standard ones at home depot. i've had some flimsy halogens and i rather spend good money on one that'll last then have to deal with it while i'm working.

Just picked these up today. The stand isn't as sturdy as I would have thought. But it does the job. And it shows the swirls very well. Paid $25.79 OTD. All in all I'm really happy...

picked up three the other day, im an ex. employee there, and they let me keep my discount card, so i got three of those, a 6.5HP craftsman shop vac with car kit and 256MPH blowing for 80 bucks total. Quite the steal. Ah i love my extra 10% off.
