IE8 vs Chrome

I'm running a Lenovo Edge with 4 Gig of memory. Everything is fast on here.

Try using Open DNS with any browser and you'll experience a difference.

You don't need to be a geek to change the settings.

Just Google, Open DNS settings.

Trust me i know besides detailing i build computers as a hobby .Only computers in my house or family that are store bought are Laptops . There are a ton of tricks to speed internet up i was just comparing the two browsers side by side . Sometimes i wish i just bought a PC from the store since they generally less expensive .

Chrome to me is noticeably faster than Firefox but then I have several extensions in Firefox that could slow it down. It loads quickly and renders screens quickly.

Thanks Harley guy .

Ive got firefox now , is it safe to uninstall IE now? Seems like whenever I mess with my PC I somehow screw it up LOL:D

On a side note my ISP went down all day yesterday . I dont think Ive ever been without interenet that long and had serious withdrawal. Instead of staying up till 1:00 in the morning I didnt even eat dinner and just went to bed at 10:00 PM.

Maybe that was a good thing

Its hard to even remember my life before the internet. Isnt that pathetic!

I would leave IE installed. It works best on microsoft sites (oh duh) and can be handy once in a while on other sites that do not render properly. It does not harm except occupy space.
