IDA- for those who are unaware, has the membership and support of this website forum!
Has for several years, so as members here, using this site--in a manner of speaking-you support the IDA.

Hey everyone, this thread seems to be getting a little heated. While Palm Beach Motoring is a sponsor of the IDA, we do also recognize that everyone here has a right to their own opinions on the subject.

This is an open forum and discussing the pros and cons of IDA membership is fine, but I would just like to gently remind everyone to please keep your posting in the Autopia forum within the spirit of this community and the forum rules.

I`d say I`m neutral on the subject. I have nothing against it, but I also see no value in it at this time. I was also a member of this site long before IDA became involved with it so I don`t necessarily agree with your comment.

This post makes no sense. Just because Autopia itself supports the IDA does not mean we as members support the IDA.

I can`t even get a simple questioned answered.

Y`all should reconsider aligning yourselves with this organization imo.

You could go directly through their website for an answer, but it is a non-profit, officers and directors do not receive payment for their work.

All work is non-pay volunteer.
Was started by a group of industry leaders, both successful detail operators with decades of such and leading product suppliers to the industry.
Those are the one`s that gave the seed money to start it.
The first attempt, of which some today were part of, was started in the late 80`s, and a couple of other attempts.
It was not until the leaders and suppliers came together, applied successful business principals and organizational skills that world wide organization was launched.

Non profits that I`m involved with are upfront about who their board of directors and officers are (real names). Many mail me their annual report (without even asking) too.
You seem very secretive about both which makes me even more suspicious.
If I was a gambling man I would bet that this organization will fail just like it`s predecessors.
