IDA SV testing

Ive found these organizations and "certifications" to not be my thing. Just as a PP said you can have a certification and still be a hack, and just cause you do not have a cert DOESNT MEAN YOU ARE A HACK so take a small step down from your soap box on that one, there are TONS of awesome detailers here who I am sure could teach some test taker alot about detailing LOL. I was a "certified" MECP mobile electronics installer for about 8 years and MECP never did a single thing for me. No one EVER asked me if I was...Id bet most here have never even heard of it and had to go look it up. That to me sounds ALOT like what IDA is and ever will be.

I guess if you make your living from detailing the IDA certification would be tax deductible. That might take some of the sting out of the cost. Is Detail Fest tax deductible?

I had a guy on the AG side ask me about giving out receipts and I had to warn him about the IRS and hobby vs business. IMO if you give a receipt you are in business and you need to pay taxes, cut and dried.
