I went mad today and mixed Klasse SG into my wash water

so are you suggesting adding olive oil to your wash?

No, but she is great to dance with.

Is WG different? I was kinda following the idea that the earlier poster had...

Considering the directions for WG say to avoid any moisture for the first 12 hours following application it may not work so well but who knows.

...so don't add WG to the wash water until 12 hours after you wash the car? :LOLOL

Dumping these chemicals in your wash water effectively renders your wash shampoo useless. The cleaning agents think the sealant particles are soil and go after them. The result is little cleaning action (or suds!) remaining to clean. Plus, none of the chemicals you're using were meant to be strictly a water-based system. They may gloss up your paint, but so will adding an ounce of olive oil.

Well I didn't say to do it on a very dirty car. :scared:

And by this theory the shampoo would render any wax on the paint useless too, no?

damn. i knew I shouldnt have logged in today. Now I'm going to want to try dumping some #20 into my rinse water to see if it goes well on top of SG :P

guys, would adding sealants into wash water cause streaking on glasses? just like those shampoos with wax formulas in them, won't it cause ur wipers to judder cos of the wax on windscreens??

Well, interesting idea... I will try it myself too... However in order to ease my burden, I plan on to throw my Makita 9227C into the wash bucket too... I wonder which pad to throw in though... The yellow cutting pad or white buffing pad... Hmmm any help ?

I use the NXT Spray Booster Wax in my wash water, as well as my 2nd pail of sponge rinse water, and I find that it helps the sponge glide over the car even better than with just the P21S Bodywork Shampoo that I use. I highly recommend this technique. I use roughly 6 full sprays of the NXT Booster Wax, and I have been very impressed.

:idea Hey, finally a way to get rid of that worthless, streaky NXT spray wax on my shelf!

You know I like the idea of getting rid of those useless products we collect and try once before putting it on the shelf. Thanks for giving me a use the the sucky NXT spray wax. :xyxthumbs

Instead, I use these 'worthless' products on my parents and brothers cars. They don't know better :idea

I wish that were true! I have educated them too much, and now they know what they are getting. :LOLOL
