I was to the belief Zaino was anti -static...

actually, they are.....and I don't even own one...... :getdown :sign

Owned one and sister still has one. Even drove one in Germany between Cella and Wolfberg (Home of VW). Great vehicle but not the ultimate vehicle I have driven or owned. Again personal taste drives these decisions.

Since you only have second hand or media forelore..... :sign

This is exactly the kind of post that keeps me away from this site. The man stated that the product didn't work as advertised, or as he expected it to, and instead of offering suggestions or help you try to berate him, his car, and his process. I'm sure that had this been any other product that he was complaining about the comments would have been more helpful. This is the "Zaino attitude" rearing it's ugly head yet again. It's exactly what turns many people off to that product.

Do some research. We just had a recent discussion about FK#425 about the same problem. Some have had zero change in their dust/pollen attraction and some have had fantastic results from its anti-static properties. Who right? :nixweiss

There are too many factors to generalize this feature of a product. Just like durability most companies will not exactly date the products endurance. Why? Tooooo many variables.

and I still state that they are the ultimate driving machine....only car that comes close to the bimmer is the G35x.....

Mercedes-Benz SL55 AMG

Like you in this case, I do not own one but enjoyed the test ride I took last summer. :dance

When it comes to pollen, I believe that blackz28conv is correct. My Excursion does not have the luxury of a garage, and it was coated with pollen this morning. I washed it on Sunday and gave it a spritz of Z8. This morning, a quick once over with a car duster, and it's good as new.

Anti-static properties in a polish are not going to make your car repel like a force field.

Thank you to all who offered insight on the static issue. Like some mentioned and like I was to believe.... I thought after applying Zaino that airborne dust, pollen, whatever wouldn't adhere to the car.

I have now learned that pollen has little claws that grab ahold.

As far as my daily driver Bimmer being the ultimate driving machine.....it's not, it is most impressive but my 997 is much more the ultimate driving machine.
