I think it's time to switch it up!

I've been a faithfull Zaino user for over 8years.. I love the durability, love the shine and with the addition of a great carnauba on occasion, I love the depth. My issue is this, TIME! I don't have the time I used too. I am noticing Alot of new products that seem very impressive and require half the time and effort. I just don't know where to start.. I see a lot of HD UNO/poxy this and that, but I want to hear from real users, not banner advertisers. if you've left zaino for another product, what are you using, how's it compare, likes, dislikes, etc. Is there a product hat leaves as impressive of results as zaino? Thank you in advance for your assistance!

I go one of two routes. Uno and the new HD polish with Poxy produces stunning results. No dislikes about the product. My other route is Zymol Vintage a high price nuba I bought years ago. Add CG V7, or Zaino Z-8 detailer to either of these combos for ultimate gloss.

I'd have to ask what is taking all of your time with the Zaino system. If its application, you might get some more time by using a WOWA sealant like Optiseal, but then Zaino has one as well in ZCS. If its the prep, ZAIO is one of the fastest and best AIOs. There are spray sealant that work great after a wash, but so does Z8.

There are lots of products to try for different looks/better protection, but I can't say anything is really FASTER.

I guess what I'm really looking to know is if theres a product out there (with all these new products) that can give me as good of results with less effort. I love the Zaino but it's always been a "finicky" process.. I looking for an easier application. I guess, time isnt that much of an issue..

Well, two lines that are much easier to use are Optimum and 3D/HD. Both stress ease of use. However, if you like that amped up Zaino shine that lasts for a very long time, you might not find what you need. I still think NXT and UQW are the lazymans dream. Then there is Opticoat, no more worries about applying an LSP.

Zaino is a great product though, I think you are setting yourself up for a disappointment if you expect similar looks and durability.

Switched to DG 105 a couple of years ago after using Zaino for 6 or 7 years to avoid the product cost/shipping costs (flat rate shipping of $4.95 no matter how much you order). One coat of DG105 mixed 4 to 1 with DG 601 (bonding agent) is very easy to apply and wipe off and lasts me 4-5 months on a garaged DD Passat. Looks allot like Z2, but a little warmer. Last month I put a coat of POXY over the DG105 just for practice using a DA and I was amazed at the look--much warmer/deeper/wetter.

I also have been a Zaino user for around 7-8 years. And still am.

Every year I try at least one new-to-me lsp to compare to Zaino in terms of gloss, cost, durability, ease of use. Menzerna Power Lock comes close.

Thats kind of where I'm at, I try a new LSP every season or so, but always come back to Zaino. I will look into the Menzerna.. I actually really liked the Ultima PGP. Bought that last year. I DO like the Clear seal better though, lol..

If the new version isn't online yet, it will be soon. Even wetter and deeper looking and still just as easy to use.
....good to hear. OS is still one of my favorites partly because I can apply it via an airbrush (which is especially great for some complex surfaces like wheels, some trim, etc.). I'm running a little low so hopefully the new version will be out by the time I need to place another order.
