This is all from memorial day, i took a 45 minute drive. I'll have to look at my intercooler to see how many bugs my hoodscoop sucked up.

That's what my car looks like every day on both the drive to and from work.

Very frustrating. I just keep a fresh coat of LSP all the time and QD them off ASAP.

I wash frequently but almost think I should just do it every day.

The bugs are terrible right now up here in the NE aren't they?

They certainly seem to be. Plus, here in PA, it is "fly-hatch" season. Certain varities of flies hatch, and if it is near a trout stream, it's dinnertime for the trout, and fly-fishing season for my friends who do that.

I drove through a fly-hatch one evening last week along the Juniata River. They were hitting my windshield so often, it sounded like raindrops. I had to do a little windshield cleaning just to get home.

The windshield, hood, and front bumper were such a mess that I had to clay it (so much for that chunk of Clay Magic), and of course, re-wax the hood and bumper.

Not my idea of fun.

bah, you can still see the paint color.

my friend's mom's expedition. 1.25 hour to their lakehouse in the morning, same drive back that evening. You couldn't tell the truck was red if you looked at it from the front. The truck was actually overheating because of all the bugs getting intot he fins of the radiator. Took almost an hour of PB's bug squash and a bug sponge to get them all off.

Try driving trough the Arizona desert at night! Wifey and I went to Sedona for a week of R&R. I had a rental ( a white Dodge Stratus) and when the lovely Mrs. Gonzo0903 and I got up the next morning, I took it to the the local car wash to clean it up. the front of the Stratus was black!
