I saw the results and IM A BELIEVER! Zaino - Pictures from GM Nationals

Great job. I am a Zaino believer/user, I love ALL of the products. I suggest getting the Leather in A Bottle, this stuff smells amazing. Also, as you layer more Z2 on top of your finish, the paint will look even more glossier and maintain a mirror finish.

Again, nice work.

MMMMM.....leather in a bottle smells sooooooo good. It really brings back that new car smell you get from leather.

results like this really really make me want to try Zaino, but that's the thing...try. Zaino is so expensive and does not allow someone to try without a large investment. I love FK because the products are high quality, price is on the medium to low end of the scale and shipping is about as cheap as it gets. Their high prices keep me away.

Does Zaino offer a sample kit?

Archive this post Way2SSlow. You will have a good laugh and send apologies to Sal when you too start Zainoing in less than an hour or two with the same results you received on your first visit to Zaino. :grinno:

Huh? I think you meant to direct that to danspeed. :D

It only gets faster man, keep on doing as many cars as you can, you get better and better, like Picus and others have said. Looks great though, nice job!

I'm confused..lol. You said originally that you detailed for 5 days straight,..and 12 hours a day. How did the above steps take you 12 hours each??? Did your paint need to be clayyed twice? Did you really machine polish the paint 5 times before applying the zaino products?

I am in no way an expert detailer,..but this past weekend I:

ZPC'd with UDM and orange pads

ZAIO

Z5(twice)

Z2(once)

Z6 in between it all

Z8 for final coat

I think I spent a little over 3 hours actually working on the car. Next weekend I'll put 2 more coats of Z2, followed up with some Z-CS.

Either way...your car looks great! Keep with the Zaino. It's sooo easy to use and maintain.

Sorry guys,

I haven't been on in a while and I didn't realize this thread was still going; ill tell you what I do remember.... (after a few weeks the detail doesn't seem so bad anymore, i think I'm ready for the next one, now I just need another car!!:D )

This actually did take me 12 hours a day,... of course there was time in between for admiring, people who stopped by to see what was going on, and also lunch, but it took me from Sunday to the time I left for the Nationals. The car is HUGE so I clay bared most of it the first day, and then finshed up the parts I missed and went over a couple of spots again the next day. Meanwhile the products I applied that didn't work, and the certain areas that need to be gone over again because I screwed them up, I buffed the car totally from start to finish at least 5 times. I also started with too light of a pad and needed something that was more agressive so I had to start over again. Bottom line is I made alot of mistakes looking back, but when I finally figured out how the products worked correctly together I was able to make all come together. I also detailed the engine compartment with Zaino and lets not forget all the door jabs, and trunk.... this is a huge car.
