Like a Rock has used a similar one from Wal*Mart and seemed to be happy with the way it worked. Actually preferred it over a sheepskin mitt.
If he sees this thread, maybe he will comment.

I have a mitt like that from wal-mart that I use on my personal vehicles that works pretty nice. Its very soft thick material and fluffs out real nice when i wash it. They are pretty small though and dont hold enough wash water. Work great for the price though. The ones at my local target looked even nicer.

Rabbi, I find the better Eurow mitts purchased right off the shelf at the local W@lm@rt are quite adequate. I don't know how much luxury you need :D

Steve, I find myself walking right past those MF chenile mitts. They certainly are colorful though. :)

You know I like colors and scents and can't just walk past them in the store:D

I own a ton of wool mitts...I have Eurow..Vrooom ..AG's..Excel...and a few other brands...and if you put them together they all look alike..same elastic cuff. They are made in China ..they all probably get from same Mitt maker...

So now I get the Eurow's and I can select the ones I want...I select the heaviest and thickest .. densest ones they have...

I also have a few Muppet Head micro fiber Chenille ones..I like these too...they are the same price as the wool mitts at wally world..

There are specialty wool shops online that sell mitts...but you never know what your getting....some mitts I ordered on line were thinner then the Eurows I hand pick at WM....

Best wool mitt design I seen was from SM Arnold...they are thumbless..and thats a great feature..I hate the thumbs....I never stick my hand in the mitts anyways...I cut the cuffs off also...I think they would marr paint

The Eurow mitts work for me. I also have one that cost 2-1/2 times as much money, (3 times as much with the shipping:)). and they appear to be identical.
While they are adequate. in no way would I call them heavy or luxurious.

Not to take the thread too far off-topic, you might want to read some of the sea sponge threads.

They got to be wool?

I just got two of these in the other day. They feel really soft, and hold alot of water.

CAR WASH MITT
That looks to be the same mitts that can be found at Target and Wal*Mart.
They also have a MF chenille covered sponge.

I didn't know they sold them at walmart. I'll have to take a look next time i go there. I've always used cotton mitts and i've only used this one once and it can't compare. I might be hooked on them. Kind want to see what the sponge looks like.

I've ordered the heavy duty/super plush wool mitts before, and they tend to shed forever and "ball up" on me more than the standard Target/Walmart versions...I won't get the heavier ones again.

The Shmitt is in my future this spring.

I can't offer information on the question but I just picked up the only two at my local Wally World for $2.50 apiece, sheepskin at that. They've held up through six washes and might be worth checking your local store for. I've had some that fell apart after two washes which is why I mentioned that.

I was skeptical to try this as I have tested quite a few mitts so far... I have to say that it's one of my faves!

Hmmm...I've been using these...

I like them, but I've been noticing some slight marks in my finish lately. Don't know if it's from these or something else.

This may be a little off topic, but...
Just curious...how long should I use a wash mitt before throwing it away??

I wash mine after every car wash and I've been using the same three for the past year.
