I Need To Invest In A Bio-hazard Suit

This detail was supposed to start out as a bronze package detail which is a wash, wax, and interior detail. The customer told me it was bad which in my terms means horrible. I don't think there was anyway to brace myself for what I saw when it arrived. Worse part is last year I told her I was too busy to do the interior of her van because my father in law who works construction worked on this person's house. He told me it was something off the hoarders show with food and dirt everywhere. She messaged me again and I wasn't paying attention and booked the appointment. My wife so kindly pointed it out after it was too late. I pulled out 2 small trash cans worth of food and trash. There was candy, yogurt, and food all stuck to the floor all over the place. The stains were out of control. The change in the cup holder came out in chunks stuck together. After putting 3 hours into the interior alone I sent her a message and told her where we would be at for me to complete the whole package or just to finish the interior and call it good. Thankfully she said to just do the interior. 7 hours later and a lot of cleaner products used later the interior was done. I never thought I would need a bio-hazard suit to do this job but I really wish I had one for this. I usually enjoy detailing but this one pretty much pissed me off lol. Beware it is not pretty when you see the befores. There were some stains that weren't coming out and I wasn't going to spend more time trying to get them out because it wasn't going to be worth it. Enjoy I guess.

This year has been one of the worst for these kind of vehicles for me. I'd say 1 out of every 4 is disgusting. Good work bringing it back. There is a ton of work that has to happen to get to where it is now. Sadly, in 6 months it will probably be back in the same condition.

Freaking nasty, I get cars/suvs that look like that about twice a month, and I dread doing them. No fun and totally disgusting. Needless to say, nice work on the cleaning up that toxic waste dump.

I feel gross getting into my car when there is a little dirt on the floor mat so I had a hard time diving into this one. When she got in the driver's seat she said, "Hey I don't stick now." Wow :rofl

It was quoted at $110 for a wash wax and interior. It became $150 for just an interior.

The customer made it sound like all the mess was from vacation last year. I knew better considering the amount of stuck on dirt and everything else.

Wow, that was really nasty. I was going to say I can believe people let their vehicles get so bad, but after seeing so many, its gotta be common. I guess when doing vans you gotta charge per kid :lol:
 
Ugh dude this is why I absolutely despised doing interiors at my old detailing job. We'd have these kind of people come in with absolutely filthy cars and assume thats the normal. I'd go home and feel a need to take a chemical shower haha

Unfortunately, probably in 6 days....

Nice work, though. I give you guys credit who can put these vehicles back together again.
