I need someone to make me a logo

Tex Star Detail

Formerly TexasTB
Well, since I am redoing a few things for my business, I want a new logo. I have a few ideas in mind that I have found, but of course, copying is a no-no. Anyone on here good at making logos? I will pay $$ for your time.

I would however, would like to see some work that you have done before. Also, would like tweaks done here and there. Someone to work with me if I do not like the 1st draft and so on. I am not a picky person, but I have an idea in mind that I cannot put down on paper...

So if you think you are up for it, reply here.

Or if you all want me to post up my idea of what I want and then pick which I like the best, let me know if that will work too.

What do you all think?

You know I'm always willing to give it a shot. :) I did your last one for you, so you already have an example of my work I guess. :) I can provide others if you need to see a portfolio. However, before anyone can create anything new for you, we need to know the name of your business and any slogans that you use. A color scheme would also be nice if you have any particular colors that you use.

I knew you would reply.. glad you did.

No slogan yet. Not sure if I want my Phone number in there, but someone wants to do one with and without it, feel free too.

Color Scheme:
I would like Red, White, and Blue

Here are a few designs I like:

I like it. I want something I can put in vinyl on my truck. Not sure it this will work.

I like this sort of. I like the checkered. I don't really know what caught my eye. Not a fan of the grey.... maybe

I really like this. I like the old shop truck look. Very simple.

Maybe with something with the Texas State outline or the texas star.

half of the texas star, then the other half checkered flag fading out? I don't know... lol

I like sort of classy too. Something fancy, yet simple. If that makes sense.

My brain is a bottomless pit of ideas. However, my clock is limited as to how many minutes it gives me in a day. lol Once we get into the tweaking phase, then we have left the sampling phase. I can 'do' just about anything as far as tweaking it goes, so that isn't really an issue. If you need letters spaced out or colors changed or anything like that, then it is just a few clicks from being done. This isn't necessarily the best place to do business though. If you want to work with me offline, then we can keep tinkering around until we settle on something that works for you. :)

Yes it would, but I think what we figured out looks even better. Chris has gone awol from DC again, but when he gets back to approve the last changes to the logo I'm sure he'll post it up. I think it works perfectly for a Texas detailing outfit and is going to look fantastic on a trailer or anything else he puts it on. He made some great suggestions along the way to get it to look just right, and that is what collaborative logo design is all about. :)

I had a few "things" that had to be dealt with.
The logo is done, just doing minor touch ups. I will post it up this weekend when I finish the deal with Anthony. I wouldn't feel right posting it up before the deal is finalized.

If anyone is looking to get a logo made, Anthony is your go to guy. This is the 2nd time I have worked with him and both times were a pleasure. Contact was ALWAYS made between the 2 of us.

Again, thank you Anthony...

I was clearing out a project folder and found his logo and realized that I haven't heard from Chris in a long time. It looks like he has fallen off the radar again. He hasn't been on any of his regular haunts for a couple months now. Has anyone heard from him at all? After reading about Beemerboy's friend in that other thread, I think it is always going to make me nervous when people disappear when they are going through life changes.

any logo idea's for me? I'm "Luxury Auto detailing"?
what's a logo usually cost by the way? I would possibly want to do the same deal as our Texas friend here.

It just depends on what you are going to use the logo for. For example, I can do a logo like the one in your avatar and that would look great painted on the side of a van, but that makes it kind of tough to make a vinyl decal out of. Others can be created to work well for either. TexasTB's logo can be modified to work for either full color air brushing or screen printing, or it can be tweaked to be a sweet vinyl decal.

If you really are interested in getting something done then feel free to PM me and we can talk about it. I do my best to make this kind of thing cheap and easy for my fellow DC members. :) Logo design is a lot more fun for me than web design and making business cards and such, but I'm more than willing to help out in any way that I can.
