I need new friends

Yesterday I spent 5 hours washing, polishing, and waxing to get a mostly marring free finish. It rained today while i was at work (pinnacle souveran beads like mad :) ). One of my friends and his 'crew' shows up as I get off work. We're all hangin' out by the shiniest car in the lot (mine :bounce ) then a dumb azz writes b*tch on my spoiler (with dirt, waterspots and some water) and then the same one comes over to my sail pillar and decides he's goin' to clean off his hand print with his shirt :shocked . So yeah, now I've got water spots, writing, and swirls in my freshly waxed paint!!!!!

:angry

Don't feel bad, I need a new son...last weekend I caught him writing "wash me" on the filthy, DRY, rear cargo door....I had to refrain from hanging him on the spot

Heh heh, I've "had a talk" with the people in my life (and had Accumulatorette talk with my in-laws), and now nobody touches my vehicles incorrectly. The youngest of them sorta think they're car experts now, knowing how to open/close doors without touching the paint :D

Actually, once people understood that the [stuff] they take for granted on *their* vehicles matters (and means many hours of work) to me, they all came around. Stealing someone's life, by making them work to undo damage, isn't something that normal people do to their friends and family. They just have to be educated about this stuff. Otherwise, yeah, sometimes people *do* need a new group of "friends".

RULE #1 which I learned years ago ................................................DONT HANG AROUND THE SHINNIEST CAR IN THE LOT why PEOPLE GET BOARD AND START DOING CRAZY THINGS always have your car insight but dont hang around it!!!!!!!!!!!!!.........................I learned the hard way

What I dont get is why some people think the roof of the car is a nice shelf put there just for them....

I had one person decide to set a coke on there. Oh! Wouldnt that be fun if it spilled! lol. Another person who claims to be a detailer decided to throw a handball in its sharp cardboard box up there as he was getting into my vehicle as well.

Ah... why must people do these things.

So after you shot the guy did you call the police or just leave him lay?

Sorry, I was thinking of what I would have done...

LAST summer I came off the beach at around 4pm.I amwalking to my car to see a family using my car as a table Beach chair on the tires and beach bags on the trunk, towels and coolers on my hood.I GAVE THEM HELL and lets not go any further. PEOPLE are just plain rude and get carried away

i think i'm just goin' to buy a car cover and get to work 5 minutes early... stop those pesky dorks from messing with my car when i'm at work

lol.. did you see that one commercial where this guy walks up to his old beat up car? and then he pulls up the cover (which was just the image of that beat up car) to show some brand new car in perfect condition under it? lol that was a good commercial.

Defintiely sucks, after all that hard work. Good advice to keep it in sight but not hang around it.

BTW...what's a "sail pillar"--is it something with paint on it?
