I need logo help

As most people have already mentioned, you need to scale down the O so it's the same as the rest of the writing. You did a good job choosing a font that will look good with a perfectly circular O, but then scaled the O too big and it lost the uniformity.

If you change the size and it still doesn't clearly read "OCD" to people, then I would reccommend changing the color of just the text to something sharply in contrast with the polisher. Red for instance. That way people don't have to hunt for the meaning as much, they can look at it, see OCD as clear as day, then realize that the O is also a polisher. Since you're doing this for a website I assume color will not be a problem.

I might also add a plug to the end of the cord. This might be unnecessary after you clean it up, but right now it would help establish what the polisher is.

Clever idea, I hope the finished product turns out well.

I wanted a logo / symbol that people could recognize as being us. Here is ours.

How about this? I've changed it a bit. Does the 'O' look a little better now that the rest of the polisher is sorta dimmed? Obviously the cord and everything is still subject to change. I'm just trying to get the text and the PC right. I'll perfect the cord later. Its a lot harder than it would seem to draw something like that. lol

lol good one, groebuck. The theme is a little.... retro for me. :lol That is a cool font though. What is it called? I can find uses for that.

hmmm, dont really know a lot of stuff about this kinda thing but...... when i first saw your sign stuff i thought it said CD etails. then i thought it was C Details. yea, like buff man says, you should space it. jw, where are you plannig to use this banner?

I might put it on a T-Shirt to wear on jobs and stuff. Other than that I think its just going to be somewhere on my website that has yet to be developed.

What do you think about it if I kind of fade out the PC and cord a bit like this? Does that make the OCDetails stand out more?

I need to figure out how to make the cord smoother.... That part is going to take some work. I wish Photoshop had that line tool where you draw the starting and ending points and then you can bend the line all over the place. MS Paint has that option... wait a second.... I can use Draw to do that I'll bet. Hmmmmm... I love having more than one graphics program. :D

The writing in one color and the buffer body in another works very well, prefered it before the fade but its all gravy.

Not sure if I like the swirl, before the font was raised/shadowed it seemed to help but after that im not sure if it fits..kinda looks like your falling into the O :D

My 2 cents:

I think the 'swirl mark' within the polisher is good, but it doesn't seem part of it anymore in the raised text version.

I agree with what someone said about maybe adding a plug to the end of the cord. Might provide the slight extra mental nudge for people to 'get it'.

Doing it yourself gives you respect for artist types that can crank out professional looking stuff, doesn't it? Me, never got past stick figures :(

I have to reply to my dumb-ass self. I hadn't read the second page - your last swirl I think looks good.

It has come a long way from when it started. What do you think on this? I'm still working out the cord issue. I've tried to make it a plug, but that just doesn't seem to work well. Anyway, what do you think?
