If a word is spelled incorrectly then why do YOU have the NEED to here me admit it.

For you guys being troubled about the spelling, I have the "hyperwords add in" for my firefox browser. It spell checks in real time just like in a Word doc. It's really hand and comes in very handy and best of all its free. It has lots of other features like right clicking on words and having lookup options.

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1941

Spell check is built in to the posting section on here and other forums (top right corner). I know you have to click a button, but it's easy enough. However, spell check won't correct it because it was a grammatical error. The word was spelled correctly, just used incorrectly.

Wow, I have to admit it is pretty damn creepy that you're so worried some random dude is spelling a word wrong that you feel the need to point it out. Seriously, that's like 2nd grade kind of crap.

I don't see how it's "2nd grade" to point out grammar or spelling mistakes but it's not to point out detailing errors. ("Dude, you used a compound instead of a polish!" is ok but "Dude, you used here instead of hear!" isn't) However, this is a detailing site, not a spelling and grammar site, and the management has made it clear in the past that spelling and grammar criticism will not be tolerated.

First of all, the only reason that I brought it up, was because someone else was making a big deal of it (read the thread) and it was just a joke. I thought it was ironic that in a response to someone badgering him about spelling, that he "spelled" a word wrong. I'm friends with Todd and we always have a laugh about it. So relax....it's 2nd grade crap that you have to comment on it when it was obviously a joke. Hence the :D.

well i guess for you n00bz out there: this thread only shows that while todd is an incredible detailer, the other guy is a 1337 internets user. we can all only hope to attain his uber 'net skillz

as for the OP- i'd have to go +1 with all nuba or all sealant. this baby is your show car and you're trying to get max shine. the sealant topped with nuba is to give a good look with durability. your 300C is going to be waxed more than it will be rained on, so there's no need.

my vote is for Dodojuice, the diamond sounds good, but man i love SN.

of course all this comes from the opinion of a noob.

if i spelled anything wrong... i don't care. it's the net.

whats that saying about the special olympics and arguing online? ;-)

So then you can explain to me why is he still spelling it with an H?

Did he also tell you that when I PMed him the first time his response was very sarcastic? All I was trying to do is help.

I'm guessing he spelled it with an H for the same reason you typed "his" above instead of "him" i.e. "Did he also tell you that when I PMed his the first time his response was very sarcastic?"

It's called a simple mistake and since we're all humans....it's going to happen. :2thumbs:

Let's get back to the subject, please guys. DoDo verses DetailDude waxes. I mentioned that DetailDude looked similer to CG products, but I don't mean to critize their products, which look extensive. I have not tried them yet. "But I'am a nut for new products, and will diffently try them. Then I can compare. I will say that most of the new products available to us are very good, and I assume that DetailDudes are most likely very good,no mater who is the chemical mixer for them. I wish all these fellows sucess for trying to give us new detail products. One other thing, I'am very impressed with the DetailDude's web site, very well done, one of the best I have seen.

Have a great weekend all! Jon:xyxthumbs

I'll add in that I've tried products from Dodo and Detail Dude and they were both top notch. Since looks and product performance is SOOOOOOOOOO subjective, if there's a doubt - buy and try both. You can always sell or trade someone here anything that didn't turn your crank.

Fixed, thanks!!

I appreciate it and corrected it.

Now do you think that was hard? :D:D:D
