i need an honest opinion between dodo and thedetaildude waxes

i have been in contact with both manufacturers. each of them recommended one of their products fro my show 300c.



dodo recommended orange crush and thedetaildude recommended his velvet wax.. anyone have experience with either product? the reasons why those 2 were suggested is because my car has orange with gold pearl over it on top and the bottom is white with white pearl and they said that these products will make the pearl glow the best.. what can you guys tell me about these products?
 
Why did you narrow it down to those two? What are you doing to prep your paint before applying? That will make a bigger difference. I've had more luck with sealants than waxes on metallics. Real waxes seem to mute the flakes. I've had some serious flake pop with DG.
 
the car is getting ready to get wet sanded and polished to a glass smoothness, then its going to get a buildup of zaino and then topped with a good premium carnuba. these 2 were recommended by friends that have used them, then myself talking to people within the companies
 
There might be a 5% difference between these two waxes. What will make the car look better is the skill of the detailer, and the time he/she takes. Products are a distant second.



A studious and dedicated detailer with Mothers will outshine the hurried neophyte detailer with Zymol Estate.
 
Take note of how it looks after the zaino and then after the carnauba. I'll take experience and posts here before I believe someone that is trying to sell me a product. While I'm not a fan of zaino because I've had less than satisfactory results with its protection, I do know the look is going to get muted and dulled by whatever you put on top. Zaino looks great on its own.
 
I have never seen a nuba increase the appearane of Zaino, I just don't think they lay well on top of it...



That said I have would say Dodo Juice because the Detail Dude's products I tried where all far less then stellar.

You are immature because you feel the need to point out things that I do wrong. Of course I do things wrong like any human.



Your history is not of somebody who has ever tried to help me but rather tries to point out my flaws. If I remember correctly from Pysch 101 that means that you have low self-esteem and are trying to make yourself feel better. Generally people with your condition subconsiously choose a target that they are feel inferior to...



I must say I am flattered..
 
If it was my car, I'd either go all Zaino on the protection or all carnauba and use a good glaze like RMG. Just makes for an easier detail and maintenance if you go one route or the other.

I've never really seen a carnuaba help Z2 Pro in the looks dept. (Z5 maybe) Now, after 2-3 weeks have past since I applied Z2 Pro, if I were to apply a nuba to a dark colored car, I can see some difference.

You want me to admit that I spell the word wrong? Of course it was wrong and you corrected it, why do I need to admit that? That is like telling me to admit the sky is blue...



If a word is spelled incorrectly then why do YOU have the NEED to here me admit it.



The fact that you have proclaimed that I will not ADMIT the word is wrong (and you also eluded to this in TWO previous threads) only PROVES the basis for your post in this thread.



You have an OBSESSION with getting me to admit what I do wrong. It is a sick need Thomas and I have to wonder why? Does it improve your ego to correct me? YOUR NEED and OBESSION says more about YOU ten me buddy and frankly I am getting scared you are going to mail me your underwear in the mail next.



Also let me poke a whole in your theory that I always think I am correct Thomas...



Remember when I was helping a guy in a thread with this polishing technique and you popped in there and showed a picture of a car with holograms? We had a missunderstanding...

Let me make this CLEAR to you as well. People who read the ORIGINAL thread all took my side (including comments in the thread as well as numerous PM's). However I was still the ONLY one to apologize and the ONLY one to admit they where wrong. (The ONLY one Thomas).

You told me you know people like me that I never admit I was wrong (apparentely you never read the PM you where responding to).... Think long and hard Thomas about that. I apologize and say I am wrong and you respond by telling me that I NEVER apologize or admit I am wrong...



I think your obession with me not admitting I am wrong (which I did just in reinerate since you seem quick to ignore it) has more to do with yourself Thomas. This is the third time you have done this (I have ignored you and reported you to the mods previously) and I have let it go. At some point I am going to have defend myself.

On the previous threads people flat out told you were/wear/where wrong (because you were/wear/where). On the original thread that started this I apologized and most people on that thread said you were wrong. Yet the only one (after 3 attacks) to not apologize is you Thomas...



Irony is a *****, but so are facts...
