Hello everybody!

I have been using Menzerna and Zaino for mine and customer vehicles. I'm thinking about picking up some Optimum products, especially since they seem widly used (Click and Brag) and relatively inexpensive. However, I am extremely confused...

What are the advantages of using OHC over OC?

Is OHC equivilent to PowerGloss, OC to Intensive Polish, and OP to FP II?

For example, a BMW (I detail LOTS of these!) would be OHC on an Orange or Yellow, OC on an Orange, OP on a White, Poli Seal on a Black, Maybe Pinnacle or Natty's Blue?

Please, just give me your opinions and advice for these products. They seem great, and I look forward to using them.

Thanks guys! I'm sorry if I'm getting annoying! :thx :xyxthumbs

That is not that complex.

You don't need all these steps. When the finish requires OHC, you don't have to use all the steps in between. If you end up with hazing, just go over the OP and OPS to remove that. In fact, the hazing may be so mild, that you can knock it down with OPS alone. Then remove the OPS residue with OCW and you are done.

the OPS pretty much "melts" right into the paint, once you use it you will see what I am talking about. removing it with OCW would do the trick and add some more protection

the Optimum stuff has impressed me, affordable results, widely available online at your choice of retailers

Yes, there is practically no "residue" to speak of. If the new sealant will have the slickness of OPS then it will be a definite winner.

I personally do not have any experience with menzerna so I can not compare the 2. I believe most people have had good results with Optimum and Menzerna.

Optimum from what I have read is more user friendly, as in not dusting. its roughly half the price as Menzerna. so good results, lower price, ease of use, readily available at most detail online retailers.

would I like to try Menzerna? yes, but to buy an entire bottle, probably not going to happen. I would also like to try Z-PC but again until I run out of Opt will not happen.

pretty much your pick, you will get great results with both:hifive:

The OHC is designed more for a circular polisher. It is pretty aggressive. I get great results with the Compound and I finish off with the Polish. I've got some pretty bad swirls and scratches out with the Compound and a Lake Country orange pad. The Compound finishes off pretty nice too.

The Poli Seal works great too. Its cut is similar to the Polish. It basically melts right into the paint and leaves the paint feeling really slick.
