I love when metallic pops! (56k tread lightly)

Wash, Clay, AIO, SGx2, wait a week, wash #16. Pics od it no justice what so ever, the metallic just JUMPS out of paint (the last two show this better than the others, but still not like in person!).

SG had 24 hours between coats, used the traditional method the first time, WOWO the next, not sure which time, but had some issues with streaking, I could see it more under flourescent lights in the garage than the sun... it may be just getting use to learning how to use SG since it was my first time :nixweiss

wow, that looks great and that is a very durable combination you have going on there. perfect for winter months. one question... how come no polish before the aio and sg??

Thanks all :)

fireberd350: I have much shinier pics than that of it ;) The orange peel you see is the worse of it, I have very little of it on the car, the bumpers are where the orange peel shows :( Check these pics:

Orange what? ;)

Nice reflection shot off the hood:

vdog0531: Exactly why the combo is on there, for winter :) AIO is a polish (synthetic acrylic polish) BTW.

Drool.

Very nice! I bet Souveran would look terrific instead of #16 as well.

More than likely :) This is for winter... when Spring comes around I plan on going over it with #80 (AIO is the most intense thing this car has seen) and some Souveran :)

that first picture is just awesome. is that torreador red? i love that color. very nice job.

Matador Red (CC Metallic), made from 02-03, it is a deeper red than Toreador, lighter than the new red for 04-current (which is called Merlot).

Thanks again for the compliments :D

very nice work and the weather seems awfully nice in indianapolis..

Thanks :) We have had some unusally warm weather fro this time of year, made it into the low 60's today I believe, but the cold is coming, 40's and 20's tomorrow..... winter is just around the corner.

Groebuck, that is some serious flake action! I really love the dark gray metallics.

What process did you use and what products?
