Well since i have a car meet this sunday i decided to try out my new 4 " lcc pads. All i can say is WOW.I simply used a white pad with fp11 and had to do it twice and it came out perfect under the halogen light.I only had to do the trunk, roof and hood as they were the area,s i screwed up (using a car wash broom............yes i now i f,ed up).I used fp11 mixed with a little rmg and it came out lsp ready on a pc none the less.I,m just thrilled how the outcome came as i have never used 4" pads before........thank god i did not have to do the whole car though.

The 4" pads are great for spot work, or swirl removal via PC. In addition to autos, have been asked to detail a couple of bikes and I wouldn't have been able to get into the tight areas without a 4" pad. Granted that there are areas that do not lend themselves to machine polishing on a bike, but there were definitely areas where the 6.5" pad was too large, but the 4" pad was perfect.

i love to apply lsp's with 4" pads (cyclo pads with a 3.5 backing plate from exceldetail) and they fit perfectly in paste tins... :up

I can do a full paint correction on an entire car faster with 4" pads than i can with 6"+ sized pads.

Me too. I wish all paste waxes would be packaged in the old school wide mouth tins like FK pink wax!
