1016 - THIS PRODUCT HAS LIGHT CRUSTING ISSUES even at 25% less solution. but sweet none the less. imho.
Directions generaly recommend using twice as much product than necessary, sell more product. I thought that was a given. Under that theory, I actually used 50% too much, which seems the case.
Good paint conditioning, more than likely that the NXT more closely matches my paint, so the crusting is less obvious.
I'm a less is more guy, sorry.
and yes, I rinsed thoroughly.
The day after 1016 and 425.
425:
good: low effort shine and slickness from 425, anti-static, very good
brought to light the defect areas upon drying, which is cool, because it gives great feedback on what the vehicle need, polish-wise, in a time apt situation,
able to roll or polish in more 425 ( or XYZ ) to conceal, possibly the 1016 polymers forming around gaps in the clear? Once a panel has been hit twice with 425 and sits overnight the results are pretty darn satisfying. very much so. Although maybe the 'hit twice' thing is just circumstance.
munched away at water spots nicely.
bad: since cleaning power low, I had to double back with more 425 remove streaks,
three times in key areas, but results, worth the effort and fairly painless.
1016: crusty, the day after
left minute amount of carmel spray wax residue in the nooks and crannies, I used
less than recommended mixture.
glad I went with a little less product. Will reduce it even further.
(( sorry no pics, but this is as good as I've ever seen my car look ))
