I live in NJ, is it too late to winterize (too cold)?

I don't have a garage so I need to winterize outside in my driveway. I plan on using KAIO and 1Z Glanz Wax over it, all by hand. It's already under 50F here so I was wondering if I should just skip this and wait till next spring. I've read stories in these forums of people having a hard time removing waxes/sealents when it gets under 60F so I just want to be sure.

today's modern products are less sensitive to cold weather application. I think you'll be OK with the products you mention. You will likely need to let the 1Z product sit a bit longer than normal for it to cure.

I use Z2 with ZFX on fridays and M16 or other wax on Saturdays, AW after washing once or twice a week. I'm in Brooklyn.

You should be fine as long as you are still in the upper 40's but for your sake, get it protected so you don't get too cold!

I just rewaxed my vehicle yesterday (Baltimore, MD) in late 40s. The wax/sealant usually takes a little longer to set up (I occasionally use a QD to assist in removal). This being me, it rained approximately 1 hour after my application.

I'm also in Jersey. I don't see you having a problem until it gets 45 degrees (without wind/wind chill). This means you don't have much time left. Lucky we live in an area where you should be able to find a day in the 50's within the next 2 weeks to easily get your sled protected before the real bitter cold sets in.

Good Luck.
