Been a lurker here for a while. Like to read up on things and see what's going on in the detail world. I know you all like DIRTY VIDEOS, so gonna post one up of a vehicle I just did last week. Show you all some before and some after and thru the process.

WOW, That looks amazing. Not many times I see someone remove the whole interior out of the car for a detail thats crazy thorough.

to be honest. that's how i've been doing it for the longest time. no money for carpet extractor and all that fancy stuff. I'm a jump, hop, and skip away from the Mexico border. it's just 5 min down the street. the way we do things over here is different but yields the same results...or better. the way that I explain to all my customers is that when you spill soda, coffee, drinks, ect. and dont get to it quickly, it will start to penetrate thru the fibers of the carpet. all that sticky sugary stuff stays at the bottom or underneath the carpet. only way to get all that gunk out is take everything out and clean it and under it also. I have a 1/2 in. electric impact gun from HARBOR FREIGHT that helps me with all the removal and installation for seats and seat belts and stuff. the rest is just being very careful with the center consoles and things like that. a RYOBI 2000 PSI electric pressure washer does the work of cleaning the carpets and seats. NEVER ever had an issue with tearing or ripping thru with the pressure. I use straight water and pressure to get all the gunk out and off. then follow up with an inexpensive laundry detergent using my foam cannon/gun. let it soak for a while then go back and rinse off. whole process takes about 3 days. mostly due to dry time.
