I paid 45 to ship it there insured for 1k (the most canada post would letme)

it was 60 to send it back snce i had it insured for 2k (ups would allow them)

........

Curious to know how much UPS dinged you for "brokerage"?

Out of curiosity what happens if in a few years Zymol (or some other company) comes out with some newer, greater product that renders this obsolete in comparison? Does Zymol offer a trade-up program?

they do.. I can trade in my vinage and have the price i paid go towards royal or solaris...

and i hate ups to.. but what can you do? ohh well i have my wax so im happy :nana:

I wouldn't consider a new zymol as making its other waxes obsolete. You have to remember that these wax models are outrageously priced, so upgrading is entirely dependent on your financial situation. As long as what you purchased has brought satisfaction, as well as an assurance that your result is/was well above your expectations should be enough to keep you entertained.

It was hard enough justifying the cost factor with Vintage.....but considering the overall cost as a zymol user, the purchase made sense to me.

Heh heh, your sensors are malfunctioning ;) If I'd quit wasting time/money on beaters maybe, but as it is I'm kinda using my mechanic as free Jaguar storage...no room for it here and no time to detail it either. It's all the dogs' fault, dog-haulers and my wife's A8 are monopolizing my resources. Heh heh, I sure keep finding excuses huh?

Now if you want to fly down here and put the RX-7 back together for me....But if I had you around I wouldn't need my own Vintage :lol

*Heh heh*....almost missed this cute little get-back. Shhhhh...not so loud Accumulator......others might get ideas lol!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't worry..............you'll be posting your glass (plexiglass lol) container soon!!!! Can't wait to see you put it on the Suburban lollllll!!!!

Oops Denali..........my bad!

Gotta keep you on your toes ;)

Heh heh, if I ever get any of my Vintage-worthy vehicles ready for LSP, I just might ask Accumulatorette to get me some for a present :D It's hard for her to find "big ticket" gifts for me as I generally buy myself whatever I want long before she even knows about it. She might like an opportunity to get me something special in this area and, heh heh, the scoffers can't exactly flame me for wasting money if it's a way for my wife to do something thoughtful ;)

Well...........looks like you're on your way. Even Accumulatorette wouldn't mind that you would get vintage!! Sounds like you may have a bit of negotiation in store........:rofl :help: :bolt

J/k.....but it would be great just to see your reaction to Vintaaaaghhhhe on optimal paint.........even if its on a 4+ pooch carrier. BTW: Pooches in your vehicles.........??? I love Dogs, but Dog hair in a good interior........a No No according to Lbls1's Cardinal Rules

*Heh Heh* definitely gotta scat now lol!!!!!!:rules: :nono :bolt

Heh heh, you'd never know they were dog-haulers, and we even hauled the (now deceased) previous primary K9 in the Audis (can't do his job if he isn't there ;) ). Dog hair...Ha! Even when I had German Shepherds I kept on top of that :D

OK, OK, sorry to go so far off-topic :o

Well, that gets back to my same ol' problem...all my vehicles have paint that's sorta (IMO) FUBAR for one reason or another, despite my efforts. I just dunno whether they'd be worth EGing... and anyhow what if I (being wacky and highly opinionated) just didn't like how it looked on the Jag

If I had something like your f-body that'd be different; likewise if I had the M3 (love that color...) entirely reshot I'd Vintage *that* too, but I think I'm only gonna have the overly-rotaried panels reshot and then sell it...we'll see.

By the time we get sick of having the same conversation perhaps I'll make up my mind :D The rest of the world must be utterly  about our exchanges :chuckle:

Well...you almost had me goin there....almost shed a tear until I realized that.....this is probably another one of your excuses to put me off. J/K I can understand...paint can eventually wear, and if you do too much polishing, eventually the paint gets too thin to correct. Repainting is a major financial affair, and you would only do that to a highly valuable car.

But you'll get around to it......I'm sure...I'm determined *HehHeh*

Well.....maybe and maybe not.......but you have to admit we put on a great act...lol!!!!!:argue :hifive:

well heres an old thread i can bring back :)

I have chonrincled my whole adventure with vintage and Zymol so why stop now.

I jut called zymol to get the adress for there factory, the tub is going back. yes folks thats right, this is refill two, so tub three. That means i have gone through 44oz of wax in one year (7 family cars, atleast 2 most often 4 got washed and waxed everysunday)

so with this new refills I will be looking at 1900 (with shipping, and rounded up)

(1900+200) (two shipping both ways)/66oz=

so

2100/66= $31.81/oz (thats just in the first year).. if things keep up i have a feeling i wil get more then my monies worth.

if nothing else this is proof that vintage *CAN* can show value for the right people, in my case me. 21 and already gone through 2 tubs...

I am almost ready to refill. Last time it took 3 weeks. So I am sending mine in early.
