Any opinions on this one?



I posted the Sonax spray wax post for my wheels and received some good advice. Some said to use a sealant instead

of Carnuba for longevity and protection on my CC wheels.



Well that got me into thinking.



Within the Forum there are Carnuba lovers and Sealant

lovers and some in between.



For those like me[carnuba lover] I was toying with this combination.



Application of carnuba to the exterior of the car and application of Klasse or Zaino to not only the wheels but also places like the inside of the doors, kick panels, trunk wells and all other invisible

areas. This would cut down on the time protecting these detail oriented areas.



Any feedback Pros/Cons?

Yes, go ahead and apply a sealant to those areas.



I assume you have a red volvo. Klasse sealants would work well in bringing a really high shine/candy coat on the volvo and you may still use the carnauba on top of the Klasse to give that warmth.



The proteciton of Klasse and the look of carnauba. A very good combination. Klasse + Souveran/Blitz = Awsome car!



Klasse the wheels, door jambs, trunk well, kick panels, and the car's exterior paint job.



Then you can carnauba away.

PS Klasse kit for $40 is a very good buy, well worth it.



EDIT: Whoops forgot about the Con's, Klasse Sg takes practice to master thin coats. Removal is tricky. A slightly damp Mt followed by a dry one to buff works well for me. Other than that, great product.
 
I drive a red 850 as well, and am a newly reformed carnuba sniffer. I always loved the look of a good carnuba on that bright red, but the heat where I live meant the life span of the wax could be measured in hours, not months.



I recently began experimenting with the Blackfire line from CMA, and am thus far VERY pleased with the looks vs. the Zymol carbon paste I was using. I have four layers of BF protectant on now (more to be added soon). I got the same "deep" look from two layers of BF that the Zymol was giving me.



The jury's still out on the durability of BF vs. other polymers, but so far it's holding up much better than the carnuba ever did. :xyxthumbs
