I set mine for 1 million posts per page. Helps with some of the recent C&B threads.

Use this option to set the number of posts to show in a thread before splitting the display into multiple pages.

I guess the max is 36 here. Normally i do 100. but

User cp>Edit options>Thread Display options>>number of posts to show per page> Show 36 Posts per page (drop down menu)
