Okay, after I Zaino'd, I found some bad scratches in the clearcoat that Z5 (6 coats) would not hide. Scratches were courtesy of the neighbor's cat.
I want to learn to polish out scratches (gonna spend some more time learning first, though). My question is: When I'm ready to work on them (just a few small areas), do I just polish through the Zaino? Or is it better to strip the areas first? I'll be using a PC, and I'm still learning about polishes so I haven't made any decisions yet. I know I'll have to go back and redo the Zaino in those areas, but I just want to make sure I don't do anything to create problems to begin with.
