Ok guys a few of you might remember me asking about how to use the Mother's Clay Bar kit i had bought. Well i used it and had terrific results. Now here are the pics. They don't give the shine any justice, and the car actually looked alot better in person.

Let me know what you think. And thanks again for all the info.:bow

ALL feed back is appreciated!

Looks good rubenz, I'm glad the Mothers kit worked well for you. The car looks particularly good in the middle picture.

See? You don't have to do a zillion steps to care for your paint. Good job! :xyxthumbs

Nice looking little car but I couldn't tell from those pics if the car had been clayed or not. Looks more like advertising for your website than anything else.

Nice wheels, though....

Its pretty tough to "see" a good clay job. The car has to be in pretty bad shape before you can see the difference that Clay makes. The real proof is how you can't lean against the car without sliding right off. The slickness of the surface after claying is the really impressive part. :up Good work!

yeah i don't have before pics so it would be difficult to tell a difference. the car is new pretty much so the paint wasn't messed at all. The car was very slick after i finished. One of my neighbors a used-to-be detailer said that i better watch out for people that fall down while trying to lean on my car. LOL

oh and it's not my website to advertise for.......i just uploaded the pics into my member profile there so that the other members could see my car.

thanks for the input guys.:up

i clayed my car recently, but even tho it felt completely slick while i was claying it, it didn't feel that smooth when i dried it. well....at least until i applied the wax ;)

I guess "slick" isn't really the best term to describe it. Maybe "smooth" is better because of how a clay job takes away that rough, gritty feel from your paint, leaving it feeling perfectly smooth and flat. Either way, try not to get too carried away with feeling up your paint. :D
