I have no idea how to use a steamer, school me please. :)

After watching this video that Jesse posted the link for, I browsed the Kleen Car website for the steamer/vacuum/extractor they're using. It looks like a really promising piece of equipment. I'm really not quite sure how it would compare to a Mytee 8070 or Aztec Hot Rod but from my understanding is that it has 1 more function than the Mytee or Aztec, which is the steamer. I'm definitely rethinking my future equipment purchases since this Desiderio seems to be the great all-in-one product.

Thoughts?

I will be buying this in the next 90 days or so, maybe sooner. I need to consolidate my extractor, steamer into one unit. I like my Rigid wet/dry vacuum cleaner too much to use this as it's replacement. Anyone looking for a great little Aztec and or steamer?

Good luck with this expensive investment! I need more convincing (and money LoL) to invest into this beast. I'll be content for a while with the cheap steamer I bought for now along with my Craftsman wet/dry vacuum, hehe.

Triangle head with a MF wrapped around it, high pressure steam, use pressure from your hand on the attachment and pull slowly over the surface. Takes some getting used to but is very effective.

Awesome link, jesselyons, thanks! BTW, I still think we should have a democratic vote here to bring back your old avatar picture. ;)

Here, here, well spoken Bruce!

One of these days I'll have to take the plunge and get a steamer. Great thread.

Thanks to everyone for your help... the pointers and information in this thread have kept me from melting anything of importance with my new steamer so far. Tomorrow, I may actually wheel the thing closer to my car.
