NXT then sealer and glaze on top hmmmm, i have the nxt on order from eshine and still have the s&g so Sounds like a good idea s&g and then nxt on top(a nice even coat of it) then top it off with mothers sounds like a good plan and if it works the way u say it does petey i think i might give it a try. My car is a dark metallic green also so it sounds like a hell of a good idea :up
I think the sealer and glaze would be better first to since it has more fillers and oils to prep the surface and hide all the nasty swirl marks etc.. and since pure carnuba makes nxt really stand out i think i might do 4 steps LOL :xyxthumbs :woot:
A carnauba tends to add depth rather than shine...but some good ones do both.
TWPUG is not a carnauba, it's a hybrid carnauba/synthetic...mainly synthetic. IMHO, the difference in appearance between NXT and TW is so minimal that you're better off sticking to 2x NXT or 2x TW.
Both will look similar on your darker colour and you'll be pleased with either.
I see though layering a carnauba over nxt really helps make it look deeper and wetter so i think i will try that with my mothers pure carnauba. I will get pics to after i am finished.
Doesn't a liquid contain extra solvents or cleaners in them, usually everyone layers a paste wax on top of nxt. Do you have to or is it just preference?
