I guess I won't be doing any more detailing

I just wanted to brag that the snow finally came. Guess this means I don't have any more cars to do. :getdown

We went from no snow at 6 pm, to over 3 feet in my driveway at 4 pm today.

This is taken in the afternoon. I had shovled aready in the morning. How fun. :wall

I'd gladly take a hurricane for a few hours than deal with snow, salt, and ice for a few months.

that's it... i'm turning on the heater tonight. It's going to be 58 by the end of the week!!! :soscared:

That's coming my way tonight, but only 4-6" :) And I get paid $10/hr to shovel snow. It gets deducted from my rent payment.

It was 75 degrees here yesterday...16 degrees tonight...but no snow in sight.

Same here yesterday, supposed to be 32 in the morning. Ugh. I hate winter. I hate cold weather. I hate the short days. I'm going to be the angry detailer until spring. :p

I used to hate snow...now I have snow tires! :woohoo:

I assume you've got snows on your vehicles Steve?

Nope. Might explain why I got stuck at the end of the driveway trying to get out. The summer tires on the buick are kinda bad..... :o

I also lent the blazer to my dad for work, so he took that beast, and I was stuck shoveling the POS buick out of 2 feet of snow...

This sucks.

Oh, I've also never had the need for snow tires. But since we put summer's on the buick this year, I think winters will be necessary tomorrrow. Even cheapies in the winter realm are better than the most expensive all seasons I've heard.

After nonstop white-knuckle BS the last two winters in my Formula, I bought a set of dedicated snow tires this year. I'll run them from sometime next week until about March. Previously ran all-seasons in the winter, and it just sucked.

Hopefully these things will give me a LITTLE traction. It's tough enough having RWD and a decent amount of power when I live around a ton of hills, don't need to make things worse with crappy rubber. If the snows help a bit, the $500 for them will be worth it.

I want snow here in California! I can't wait to go snowboarding

Mammoth is open, and it won't be long before the local SoCal mountains get some of the white stuff too.

Man I hate snow! I hate Cold....i need to move....

I feel your pain Justin, I grew up in Rochester just up the road from you. I've been in SoCal for 15 years and I don't miss winter one bit. If I want snow it's an hours drive away.

I must say, though, that fresh snow like ScubaStevo showed us to kick off this thread is really pretty. Too bad it quickly turns to a slushy, salty mess that seems to go on forever.
