I got a new Metabo

So I got my Metabo last week and I have been trying it out with the SSR lines, is there a better product for a rotary that I should try?



It's begun to make a pretty loud whine when I apply pressure. I'm not sure what its about but it wasn't there the first time I used it. Is that normal?
 
The Metabo is a great machine. It is amazing how much difference the lighter size and weight makes. The whine is normal. I believe it is the drive gears. You cant go wrong with either Menzerna or the Optimum line. Both work extremely well with the rotary.
 
I own a makita and do this:



Light/Med Swirls - optimum polish with light cut pad @1250 rpm

Final Polishing - Menzerna FPII with finishing pad @1500 rpm



You might also look into getting menzerna Power gloss for really bad marring and RIDS.
