I found yellow clay for those in canada

if they hold the patent why dont they release that quality of clay? Could I go up to Can and bring it back for personal use, definitely not interested in being sued.
 
i have a feeling that clay costs more to make. if there is no competion there is no need to improve. (this is why i love a free market so much).



they are making tons o money so what change it.





as for getting sued i cant tell you. maybe a laywer will chime in. I would think so as you are not selling it,but i could be wrong.
 
I order 2 of those the other day :woot2: I can't wait to try it out. The selling point for me was, they're pre-cut and flattened, making it really easy to just grab one per car.

I'm sure that clay is very profitable for Auto Wax and that there is a big profit margin. Why would they change a great product. Just because a *handful* of people complain about it on an internet forum doesn't mean that there's a need for improvement? Plus, think about all the companies that custom order their own formulas from them. That's a huge market for them too. I'll bet that after the patent expires, most of those companies will still be getting their clay from the same source instead of making it themselves.

Oh no it definitely does leave residue, I have used it once and never will again, I had to re-wash afterwards the residue was so bad.

I haven't had any problems with it, I just make sure that I use sufficient QD with it. You could even try QD while using the soap water and rinse all in one step.

We had to call it something instead of "Sell it in the USA and get sued clay". Fact is Riccardo was my fathers name. I always liked the name, I guess there is a small story behind many odd names in the industry.
 
So the Clay Magic folks have the patent, yet the stuff they are selling isn't "the good stuff" like what can be purchased in Canada?



If I bought the Clay Magic stuff from their web site, it's not the good stuff??

My guess it is the same Clay Magic Blue you get at a auto parts store.

Riccardo is a specific brand to EShine?



I just assumed it was a brand sold by many vendors and you were one of them.
