I just had a few questions about the cleaning up the towels and applicator pad after Zaino has been applied.



What's the best way to wash the application pad and the towels.

Should I just place both in the wash with a liquid detergent or is there a better way to wash the pad and towels.



Secondly what the best way to clean out the ZFX bottle once used ? I ended up cleaning out the bottle of the ZFX mixture with Dawn and some hot water, and after repeating this a few times. The bottle became pretty clean. Is it safe to assume that the bottle are garbage after one use ??
 
You can reuse the bottles. It sounds like you washed them same way I do. I mark with a sharpie what was mixed (ZFx/Z5, Zfx/Z2, etc.) in it and use it again for the same mixture. The bottles look a little cloudy but are still very usable.



As for the towels I put them in the washer with All Free (no dyes, no scent, do bleach, no fabric softener, etc.) and wash on hot. I usually pitch the applicators. Some however wash them.
 
I throw towels into the washing machine, warm water, regular detergent (tide). MF towels are washed by themselves. Dry on low heat and let them air dry while still slightly damp.

The applicator pad (yellow ones I'm guessing) I wash with some dawn and warm water right after use. Rinse thoroughly. Squeeze dry and let them air dry.



The bottle ? I've tried to wash them out with warm water and dawn. There always seems to be some left over that I can't get out. Looks like a film inside, so I've thrown them out because I wasn't sure. I switched over to syringes which I throw out after use.
 
Ah, you must have the older version of Zaino. The newer version is easy to remove from the ZFX bottles. It's also thinner.



If you have a black Z5 bottle and the Z5 is somewhat orange, then it's the older one. The new bottle is white and Z5 is bananna color.



I just let them soak with Dawn or APC+, then shake and last, use a small bottle brush.



Towels, as they say, liquid detergent, let soak for a bit and wash as normal by themselves. Dry on low until damp and air dry after that.

use the syringe and squirt in some dawn after done, rinse thoroughly. Same with applicator, but should be using foam, in my opinion. I squirt a touch of dawn on those too.
