Well, yesterday I woke up and my one middle finger was swollen. It didn't hurt too bad so I didn't think anything of it. I woke up today and it is swollen about twice the size of my other finger (at least the lower digit) and i can't move it very well. All of the other fingers are kind of sore too. :nixweiss What should I dooo...i have an essay exam tomorrow. :(
 
If it's swollen as in "maybe infected" or something like that I'd get to a MD and not worry about the test. If it's just swollen as in sore then I think you gotta just tough it out.
 
Hey dude, what happened? Insect bite, cut that got infected?

Better get yourself down to your local ER. Doctors orders !
 
lmao. no, this happens every few months it seems, mainly when i am under a little stress with school, ect. Hopefully it goes away soon.



No insect bites or jambing it in a door. :(

Go see a doctor. Bring your books with you. You'll have plenty of time to study while sitting in the waiting room. :nono

That happens to me after about an hour of Dallas traffic. My middle finger gets real tired and swollen from over use. ;)

Do you have type A or type B blood by any chance?

Both of these blood types produce more of the hormone called cortisol.



If I knew your type, I could make suggestions, but since we don't know, I won't say anything.

I tell you, I wouldn't wait another moment to get to a Doctor. You never know, what if that swollen finger is related to something more serious. Why take the chance?





In the meantime .. try to avoid any fast repetitive movements with your hands .......... LMAO
 
Corey .. I'd call him anyways... if like you say, its a recurring problem it could be indicative of something more serious. Don't mess around, get to the Doc's office, take care of yourself man!

Comparing with both my parents knuckles--this seems to be just a painful growing pain. My nuckles on the other hand are as small as my mom's and a lot smaller than my dad's. The "new" right side is more in line with my father's. Weird.
