my black car is getting more swirls every time i see it, and im dying to try PC and all these products i see on autopia.

living in an apartment sucks. damn kids always messing with my car, and i have to wash my car with that coin-op high pressure water every time. i see dust on the car few minutes after the wash...

i wanna detail my car spot free and post pictures on here too.

trying all these products by hand doesn't do **** to swirls. just waste of money.

sorry. just venting. your cars look too nice!!!

Since you do not say where you live it is hard to offer alternatives. A lot of mobile detailers work in parking lots and drive ways so there is a chace for you to detail your car. Did i say it was easy...NOOOO! Can it be done....YESSSSS!

Do you have any friends that have driveways? How about at work? I know when I live in Alaska a lot of my details are done at the office and shop area. My boss has always been accomodating to me.

There are a lot of products that are sun friendly so it is not always necessary to work inside. In fact I am doing a detail of my truck this very day. It has been all outside in the sun. Every thing is working good for me as of now. I am only about half done. I have all the vertical surfaces polished and sealed. Have two wheels and tires to finish plus the roof and tonneau cover to do.

If you want to do it, all it takes is time and commitment to get it done. i hope that you find a place for you to get these things done. It is very satisfying. :D

Hey, I have to agree with cwcad. Sometimes, things are harder to do, but when you accomplish them, they are satisfying.

My "ex" used to make fun of all the time I spent making my car, her minivan, and her company car look good. What I didn't know was that she was sneaking around on me while I was detailing.

So, when the dust settled, and I was on my own, I decided that forever more, I would find a way to make my car look great, no matter what. With that attitude, and the extra knowledge I have gained from fellow Autopians, I have kicked my expertise up a notch, and I take advantage of any little break in the weather to satisfy the "urge."

Hey, I can be smoking bar-b-que on the porch at the same time I am detailing in the driveway on a 40-degree day. The best of both worlds!

But, it's like anything else. If you push the envelope, you will love driving around in the result even more, because you had to work to get there. Who knows, you may end up with a garage someday. I did.

Go for it, and for those about to detail, we salute you!

would have to agree with Hey, Moe!.... I live in Pa as well with no garage. take a look at my pics in the Autopia Garage. even though these are not fast sporty cars I have, they do get the Autopian treatment . my neighbors always see me outside cleaning one or all of my three trucks lol ! I work in an office with about 700 people and whatever truck I have always seems to be the cleanest .
