I Donated!

My fraternity is raising money for the next week or so for this disaster. I will report back with how much we raise.

25$ from me too. I think everyone here could give at least that. It's just a few bottles of NXT wash or what ever.

I donated too, the day before the storm hit. I hoped it wouldn't be needed but, expected it would.

I donated US$25.00.

I went to the local Red Cross web site and they had a link to the US Red Cross where I was able to donate using a Credit Card.

Come on other Aussies, get behind this.

I donated $25 and my wife is giving blood this afternoon.

Good luck to all those affected by the disaster.

Its very difficult, at least here in the states, to donate online. Seems like the server is extremely busy...I donated thru an automated phone process which took all of two minutes and is very secure.....I believe the number is 1-800-help-now.

I donated Wednesday after seeing the news for a couple of hours. I can't watch any more. It is too heartbreaking. Thanks to the mods for encouraging more donations.

I gave $200. Not that I have a lot of money but I figure it's what I get for a deluxe detail. Many of those poor folks lost everything. It's the least I can do.

I made my first donation tonight. I'll give more as soon as I am able. Cheers to everyone involved in the rescue effort and to the victims who's will to live has empowered them to hang on.

I donated $100, just a fraction of the money I've pissed away on detailing supplies that I don't even use. I plan to donate that same amount each payday for at least the next six months.

Kudos to all that have been able to help out here. So far we have bought $50.00 worth of pet food. $50.00 worth of clothing. And installed a new windshield in a camry for a family that had lost everything.
