This guy I work with told me he uses Lemon Pledge to wax his vehicles. And he was dead serious about this. He was trying to convince everyone that they are crazy for paying all that money on paint care products and that we all spend way too much time waxing. “ JUST SPRAY IT ON AND WIPE IT OFF AND YOUR DONE.�

This guy is nuts.

Im sure someone here must remember seeing people driving around all day with Turtle Wax ON the car?

The cars looked like someone rubbed spackle all over them, hundreds of thick white circles all over the car. They would use half a can per.

I remember that very well - mid 1970's, and you could use Lemon Pledge on the vinyl seats too.
