I can't stand Meguiars' DACP...

I've never really had any problems with DACP but I've been using it since it came out and attended one of those Meguiars classes when they had the mobile classroom going to their distributors. My suggestion would be to use a little less product and work a smaller area. Work DACP until it just begins to dust. If it doesn't wipe off relatively easily, you used too much or didn't work it long enough.



The only thing I really don't like about DACP is the minor dusting. Optimum Polish with a burgandy pad gives me an equal cut and no dusting, so I find my self reaching for Optimum more often.

I have to say I made the switch from DACP to SSR2.5 as I found it much easier to use (with a PC). Now I'm getting the hang of the rotary though I'll give DACP another go as I think it's going to be able to be worked much longer than SSR2.5 which I can get to flash in no time at all.



I do get the feeling most of Meguiar's products are designed to be used by rotary, but can be used by PC if needs be.

Why don't you just use SSR then? Problem solved.



Give me a price, and I'll see about buying the rest of the DACP off you, as I've always wanted to try it.

It might take a bit more effort to remove it, due to it's polish rich formula, but it's not too hard to remove IMO.



I recommend a cotton terry towel to remove it with.



I've also used it in the lower 90's with no problems to speak of.

Where I live, it's pretty much 90-100 degrees all summer long and as long as I don't try to use it in the direct midday sun, it's fine. IMO, #80 is a lot easier to work with than #83 is.
