I can still see light swirl/web in flourescent lights or some sunlight conditions.

Ok. I keep my car really really clean. I wash it by hand once a week and keep up on it daily with spray and wipe. To the layperson my car is really immaculate but I have noticed that under certain lighting conditions I still see light swirls/webs.

I tried once to remedy this by washing, claying and starting with a Yellow LC VC pad and ssr2. Then I did a white LC VC pad with ssr1 and finally pp with a black pad. It looks like I get the situation taken care of but if i look in a different angle I can still see it.

My next step is going to be 2.5 with the yellow pad as thats the most aggresize pad I own. Will this work or should I get an orange pad? I was hessitant to use the 2.5 as my car only has 6000 miles and I don't want to create any ill effects from over use of products.

I have almost the full line up of poorboys products to use, I feel like I shouldn't have any visible swirling on my own paint even though its hard to detect.

You might have to take a few passes with each product to get perfect results. If you're using a Yellow pad you'll definetly need to step down to SSR1 with either a white polishing or a black finishing pad to get rid of the hazing from the cutting pad. After every pass you should inspect your finish to see if what you want to happen is actually happening, it helps a lot when you know if your polishing is not putting a dent in the swirls.

I would suggest using the yellow pad and 2.5 followed by the white pad and 2.5. This combination should eliminate those pesky swirls you see. Just remember, move slowly across the paint with each pad and complete the entire process on a 2x2 panel before you proceed. This will ensure that what you are doing is providing the results you desire. If you wish, you can follwo the process with SSR 1 and white pad to really enhance the gloss.

I did the 2.5 today with the yellow pad and it is much better. I am contemplating what my next step will be.
