Remove your address! Don't really need that info floating around the internets.

Anyways, nice install. That was some case that stuff came in! Looks like something that carry nukes with in 24 or something.

i've used HID kits in the past and they are brighter and light up the road well, but IMO they scatter too much light. I went back to halogen in e code housings since i did not want to go through all the work of doing a proper hid retrofit

I don't like those kits because light is scattered everywhere. You have a truck, so you will probably blind oncoming traffic along with the car in front of you. HID retrofits are the way to go resulting in a sharp cutoff. Quality always comes with a price tag. Lucky for me, 2 of my good friend are experts in that field. I might have the first AE86 or flip up headlight retrofit. Used OEM Acura TSX ballast, projectors, and bulbs.

its not that bad...ive yet to be flashed by anyone

Just wait. I will. :lol

But seriously, unless your reflectors were made for HID lighting, you are losing alot of your light and are really taxing other drivers.

Consider a retrofit of a project type housing, and you will really be satisfied with how well you can see.

Nice kit. Where did you buy it? The metal case looks wicked!

The scattering is actually glare. Glaring happens 100% of the time when you install HID kits in halogen housings. This is also the reason why individual HID light bulb kits are not DOT approved. Most factory equipped HID lights are housed in projectors to reduce glare.

Don't bother with clear housings. They will only make glaring worse. What you need is this:

1994-2001 Dodge Ram Projector Headlights

Black Housing Projector Headlight (2LHP-RAM94JM-TM)

Although probably not DOT legal, it should have very clear edges

hehe nice!!

My HIDS came in the same mini suitcase like yours. Great mod i did to my car. Makes the car look more modern at night, i can see better. Its not terribly bright.

I just have to put HIDS in my other car though
