I Can Only Chose 1: HD Uno, Adapt, Speed, or Polish

Ok so it car care season again ... and as usual I am confused by all the HD products. I started with HD back with the original Uno and life was simple. One product ... I really liked it. Since then I have done some correction and orange peel leveling with HD Cut and denim pads over new paint. Finished with HD Polish and Opti Coat about 18 months ago ... happy !!

Now this year Opti Coat is mostly gone ... so all I want to do is keep the cars looking good. Do not want to mess with Opti Coat again and just Plan to top with Poxy most likely (I have used lots of stuff ... and simply like the way HD products work and finish).

Right now I have small amount of Cut (enough for any correction areas I might need to address), very little Polish, New formula Uno and an old bottle of Poxy that seems to be getting watery ... oh and probably enough Nitro seal in the frig to do one more car.

Wanting to order Some Poxy for an LSP and a single bottle of something to start with after I wash and clay ... So if you could have just one product for light correction and finish using a PC DA and LC Orange/White/Red/ or Black pads which would it be? HD Uno, Adapt, Speed or Polish? Why? Which removes easiest? Which Finishes best in prep for the LSP?

Thanks Mike

Adapt seems to be the way to go if you only can choose one. It is a mild compound that finishes very well and is pad dependent so you can use an orange pad if needed but then finish with a polishing pad if need be. Adapt is a newer product than Uno with additional technology.

If your Poxy is watery put a stainless steel ball bearing in the container (biggest that will fit in the opening) and then shake it up--should correct the problem in no time.

It depends on the condition and type of paint. If you corrected 18 months ago, a finishing polish should be all you need, if that. I'd go HD polish topped with Poxy generally speaking.

I like "Adapt" mild to cut pad depended.. one polish that will remove 2000 grit sanding marks and finishes to crystal clear finish... Can not go wrong!

Used Adapt today as a 1 step on this 2005 Jeep GC

Adapt is the upgrade version of Uno. If you liked Uno, Adapt is the way to go.

These are the recommended best paths.

Option 1: Cut > Polish > Poxy (2 step + Sealant)
Option 2: Adapt > Poxy (1 step + Sealant)
Option 3: Speed (All in One)

Thanks for the feed back .... Looks like I could use Adapt and an LC red or black and have it finish out nicely
