But a quick question here: Are you playing with us? I have seen several threads started by you with the "I am thinking of buying..." Maybe a quick search on a specific will get you tons of info about pretty much every single line available in the market today.

Just my 0.02

How many more posts are you going to make regarding this?

It's getting very annoying. You should look in the mirror and say "iFail"

lol

Seriously why do you giuys think i am playing with you, i really have all these questions, and honestly want you guys' opinions.

I am very much into detailing and i am trying to learn.

I own a rotary, DA, all the megs pros and zaino

I am just trying to see what else is the best out there that i can get and get wow results.

I was really gonna but the Meguiars M16 but after reading the review on here, the person said it wasn't a WOW result so i dropped that idea.

Now i really want something that gives me excellent results.

I am not trying to fool anybody, i am just trying to learn.

....and for you kaval, i would never look in the mirror and say iFail, because i am not a type of person who gives up.

May be its in your personality, i understand, some people have a complex. But its alright, i am nice enough to deal with it.

Thanx for your input anyways. It helped.

I think most are acting like this because we had a ***** of a kid come in and just ridicule us all for the fun of it. He obviously had no idea why we do what we do in detailing and just wanted to try to get some kicks out of people.

My vote goes for Menz though. I've got almost the complete line from them.

Alright, no more ''I am thinking of buying..." posts i promise.

But guys help me out here, thats 2 votes for menz and 1 for optimum, both top notch brands.

I have been detailing my cars now for over 15 years and still dont have a full line of one brand. Unless this is your livelyhood i don see why anyone would need a full line.

There are tons of great products out there why limit your self to just one brand. Thats like say in your only going to eat McDonald's.

So what are the different "best'' products you would recommend?

M26 - As myself and I'm sure others have said already, going with one product line isn't always a good thing. I can guarantee that if you put the quality of your work first, you won't stay with one product line for very long. Example...if I were to stay with a company like Megs for all of my products and I wanted a finishing polish, I could use one of Megs, but I know there are other brands out there like Menzerna that make a much better finishing polish. So would you stick with Megs just because you want to use one product line, coincidentally sacrificing gloss, or would you seek out the better product that will give you better results, in turn stepping out of the product line.

It's just simple logic. For this reason, myself and others quite simply cannot take you seriously when you say you want to stick with one product line. It's simply not feasible if you are running a business (not taking into account affiliation and partnerships, etc). I could see it working if you do it for pleasure, but even still...why sacrifice quality results because you want to use one product line?

I understand what you are saying. I also dont want to sacrfice gloss, and i know one product line doesnt make all the best products. So can you list which products are best for what reasons?

Like for example, if you can tell me who makes the best polish, wax.. and so on.. all the products that i would need to make a car super glossy!

Quite a loaded question to be honest. When I came to Autopia a few years ago and browsed around, I learned a TON by reading the Click & Brags, and posts in the Pro Details Before & After section. Things will catch your eye, you'll start seeing the same products being mentioned in numerous threads, and your interest will be sparked. Then you start researching on the product(s) and make your own conclusions. You may have a couple of questions regarding product comparisons, so you search away and read some more. In every search I've done, while looking for a particular answer, I've always learned something new just by reading.

So with that said, I'd suggest doing a lot of reading. If you are on a budget, keep that in mind while shopping around for products. You get what you pay for!

Another thing to mention, a very large portion of the 'glossiness' is in how well the paint has been prepped (polished) before applying your LSP (there's a term to search to get you started in case you don't know what it is).

M26, go to the top of the board and click "search". Type in whatever you are interested in researching. There is a wealth of information in the archives. More than you would need and alot more than the responses you will get in this thread. Forget this whole idea of finding the "best" this and the best that. Any detailer worth his salt can use any polish and any wax, and make it look stellar...Search my brother, its all there..PS..Today I will detail a car. I will use: soap, polish, sealant, tire dressing and window cleaner...Keep it simple....PPS. When your phone is ringing off the hook and you can't keep up, then consider buying a product line.
