I am not completely satisfied….

Since I am not completely satisfied I am changing my washing regimen. Recently made a change to using genuine sheep’s wool mitt. It works great but it doesn’t seem to hold as much water and soap as other mitts. I want to try this mitt I have a microfiber chenille wash mitt Microfiber Chenille Wash Mitt I remember reading past threads were most people didn’t like these? Another change is I used to use one bucket no grit guard now I will use the two bucket system with two grit guards as well as a third bucket for washing the wheels with a synthetic wash mitt. How many people use two wash mitts to wash the car I was thinking of doing this too?

I use one of those microfiber chenille wash mitts on my soft honda and it works pretty well. I regulated it to the top half of the car and use another mitt for the lower portion. I also use a different mitt or grout sponge on the wheels. I'm going to bet most of the people on here AT LEAST do that much.

Sorry guys, just found past threads about why not to go wuth chen. MF mitts one of the main reasons it they just dont rinse out clean enough.

What should I use to clean wheels sponge or synthetic wash mitt?

you could use to wash mitts, one for the top part of the vehicle and the other for the bottom half. i've used chenille mitts and do not care for them. it's either a grout sponge or sheepskin mitt for me. i only use one bucket with a grit guard and with a grout sponge for example, you can tell if it gets dirty so i'll just quickly hose off any debris if need be as they rinse off very easy...

I used to use one microfiber "bone" to wash the car until I started using onr. At the end of the wash the white "bone" went from bright white to some type of gray. Now I use two mitts, half the car with one and the other half of the car with the other. I use three buckets, one with onr w/out grit guard, rinse bucket w/grit guard, and another bucket with onr, grit guard, and various wheel brushes.

I use BHBs (Boar's Hair Brushes), followed by sheepskin mitts (the little ones made for wheels that Griot's sells).
