...I tried my hand at white.

The subject is a white '98 750iL with a little less than 90k on the odometer.

These are my favorite Bimmers of all and I just couldn't wait to clean up the M-PARS but found these instead!

Please note that *all* of these pictures are after. There simply wasn't much to show you in the before shots. Some dirty paint and a slightly dirty drivers area but pointless nonetheless. The car is well kept by the owner. There aren't any kids and the dog isn't allowed.

Leather was cleaned with Ultima Interior Shampoo and dressed with IGP. The carpet was cleaned with Folex and the scuffs were removed with Folex and Mr Clean Magic Eraser.

The exterior was ONR'd, elastrofoam clay, ZPC/UDM/orange LP LC pad, PGP.

Exterior trim was cleaned and sealed with TTGP. Tires got HD 2.5:1.

I too love those older Bimmers...and *wow* that thing has nearly 90K on it?!?

I especially liked seeing the unspoiled interior and the nice clean doorjambs :D

Thanks to all of you!

These cars are of so much better material quality than the new 7's that it's scary.

The owner is *very* meticulous about this car. I've been back to see this car since then and it's almost time to go back again. I've been locked out of C&B's for months now.

looks excellent.

I agree. what happened? especially the plastics on the a/c and window controls is worse than a mcdonalds toy.

what did you use on the front door carpet and fabric door sill lining?

Yeah, practically new 7's show all kinds of interior wear and this car shows almost none. Maybe the new plastics are sourced from the same place the McDonalds toys are.

The carpets were cleaned with Folex.

Most people think white is boring, but when it's done right I seem to enjoy it more so than a black car. Maybe it's just me, but there have been some white cars that stick in my mind, like the white mustang in FL, the white Tiburon in Hawaii, gmblack's white Acura Legend, and now this 7 series. I especially dig those rims. They look like a b*tch to clean, but you did an awesome job on the whole car! Nice work, SpoiledMan!

I've wanted a white 740 for yeeeears..........

I still love the older body style and every once and I while I run into some real low mile gems.

Very nice work.....

To my knowledge there has been no wetsanding on the trunk. Last time I was there I *did* sand the hood as there were some nasty marks that he wanted out. After I was done the first time, he took the car and had some really minor things corrected on it that make this car a 9.5.

Thanks all!:)
