Anyone have any experience with Hyundai Paint? hard or soft clearcoats? i'll be doing a slate gray this weekend... just wondering if anyone had any tips/suggestions.

Based on my own car, I would have to say it's pretty soft. So soft, that after only polishing once with the PC, I'm starting to see clearcoat failure. My paint had been neglected for more than 5 years though and during that time I never really took proper care of it.
My car was also the first car I practiced the PC on, so in hindsight I wish I had started off with a light polish.

Unfortunately I used #83 with a Meg's burgundy pad. It also didn't help that this was done outdoors in the summer heat.
If I knew back then what I know now, I probably would have started off with #80 on a Meg's yellow pad.
It was bad mistake for a first timer. Luckily, it was my own car.

I've had 4 Hyundais and they can be different color to color. Silver has been kind of hard, medium blue was very soft and my newest has not needed polished yet.
