Quick question.....can you apply a glaze and then top it with Hydr02, or will there be a bonding issue? Glaze I am referring to is Chemical Guys Glossworkz Glaze....thanks

Yes but I'm not sure how long that would last being glaze isnt durable. Honestly, Clay it clean it up hydro2 then glaze. Glaze a topper and is really mean't to look nice till it gets washed off.

Personally I've never used glaze except po115c as a polish cleaner more than anything, other wise I find a proper polish goes alot farther than throwing on a quick coat of glaze/filler.

Yes you can do it. Hydr02 can be applied to basically anything, including a dirty car (the Hydr02 ingredients will bond to the dirt!)... However, the durability of Hydr02 is very dependent on the surface it is applied to.

If you applied it on top of a car coated in a layer of dirt, then it would last until the dirt was wiped away. If you apply to a glaze, it will last as long as the glaze lasts, and so on and so on.

Thanks Todd...I kinda thought that....was looking for that extra step of gloss with Hydr02

My thinking was that the Hydr02 would lock in the glaze and since Hydr02 has durability up to 3 months that it would last that long

Hyrd02 does an excellent job being glossy by itself. If you want to "lock the glaze" in, try a traditional, low-solvent paste wax like Pinnacle Sig Series II first, then use Hydr02 to maintain it. However, the durability will still be dependent on the glaze/wax underneath.
